The association
An amateur national Weiqi association — not a brochure.
Persatuan Weiqi Malaysia (Malaysia Weiqi Association / 马来西亚围棋协会) is a society registered with the Registrar of Societies. Correspondence is admin@weiqi.org.my.
Two published dates stand together and are not collapsed: the IGF directory gives affiliation year 1987; the association’s own previous site and Facebook page say the association was formed in 2003, after Kuala Lumpur enthusiasts began gathering players in the 1990s.

This site does not publish a club directory. If you want a place to play, a first lesson, or a contact in your state, send a short note — the association can point you onward. The game is Weiqi, also called Go, played on a 19×19 grid with black and white stones.
