Fee: RM30

Requirement:
1 of Leader, 1 of Coach, 6 of Players

Open group
– Max 4 players will be selected
– No age restriction
– Dan players will be given priority, if number of registered players more than 8

Teen group
– Max 2 players will be selected
– Born after 1^st of January 2010
– Dan players will be given priority, if number of registered players more than 8

Malaysia Weiqi Association will co-host the Atria Cup Weiqi Tournament with N-World Go Academy, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Weiqi Association on October 8th. This is also the first physical Weiqi event we held after the epidemic. The response to the competition is also very good, with more than 100 participants.

Despite the large number of people, we will ensure epidemic prevention, so that everyone can enjoy the tournament in a safe environment.

FIRST Weiqi State Team Formally Established!!!

Malaysia Weiqi Association will co-host the “Grand Signing Ceremony” on 30th of October. With the support of Ministry of Education (Malaysia), as the first state in Malaysia to set up a Weiqi state team, although the process was difficult, the Weiqi state team finally blossomed with the assistance and support of all other parties.

A small initiative can lead to a profound movement, we believe this group of outstanding weiqi players will be able to achieve remarkable results and obtain international pride as Malaysians through state team’s regulated and systematic training.
