The top ten individual players will receive cash prizes, trophies, and certificates:

1. Champion: 60,000 yuan

2. 2nd to 10th places: 30,000 yuan, 15,000 yuan, 8,000 yuan, 5,000 yuan, 3,000 yuan, 2,000 yuan, 2,000 yuan, 1,500 yuan, and 1,500 yuan (before tax)

3. The top six teams will be awarded trophies and certificates.

4. The top-ranked amateur player in individual results can apply for an amateur 7-dan rank (without extension).

5. Players ranked 2nd to 4th can apply for an amateur 6-dan rank (extendable to the top 16).

  • The competition will be conducted in accordance with the International Go
    Federation Rules, with Black giving 6 and 1/2 points.
  • The time allowance is 60 minutes per player, followed by 3 renewable 30-second
    overtime periods. The 3rd time will be the last overtime period. If a player fails to
    make a move within time limits, he or she will be declared to have lost the game.
    Being late by more than 20 minutes in each round shall be declared to have
    forfeited the game.
  • The Swiss Pairing System will be applied in competitions with a total of 6 rounds.
  • In any rare cases, such as a triple ko, when the contest ends in a no-win situation,
    there should be a replay between the two players immediately (the same rules
    apply as do the former) and the remaining time for the players is the duration of
    the replay.

Qualification
All amateur Weiqi players outside of China. Professionals are refused.

Tournament Rules
โ€“ Every match is played online at Tygem.
โ€“ Taking the 2002 Chinese Weiqi Rule, black gives 7.5 points komi.
โ€“ Taking integral arrangement, the specific round number will be informed after all registration.
โ€“ Each game each side has 45 minutes, after with 30 seconds 3 times byo-yomi.
โ€“ After registration it is forbidden to drop games, dropping for one game will be knocked out.
โ€“ Cheating is seriously forbidden, when cheating is confirmed, the player will be noted on the list of broken promises and will be banned for participating in any games for 3 years.
โ€“ Players need to prepare video record during every personal game in case of the inspection. The video needs to record both PC screen and player. To avoid appeal without consideration, each appeal requires 200 RMB deposit, once succeed it will be return.

โ€“ Rank 1: 6,000 CNY
โ€“ Rank 2: 4,000 CNY
โ€“ Rank 3: 2,000 CNY
โ€“ Rank 4-8: 1,000 CNY
